We had a great Christmas, Evin's family came to our house this year. We had Clancie, our 4 yr niece Clancie and Colton, our 9 year old nephew here. It was so nice to have kids in the house, they kept Cash entertained. I'll have to find some good pictures to post. I am still perfecting this blog site so be patient with me. I'm hoping to add some interesting content. Cash makes us laugh on a daily basis so I hope I can share some good stories. He was so excited for Christmas this year, he didn't really try to see what was in the presents until a few days before. Since he can't read, he didn't know which ones were his until his friend Marli brought a big present for him. He started to rip it open, I managed to stop him, tape the paper back on and place it on the fridge. He forgot about it and we made it to Christmas Day. This year he was glad to unwrap presents and didn't really care about what he got or what he didn't get (since he'd been asking for a horse, a dog, a bike and anything else that looked good that day) but next year will probably be different. I told him his birthday is in 3 months and so far he wants presents and balloons. Balloons are a big deal at our house, we usually can't drive past a dealership without a balloon request. He used to enjoy playing with the balloon, now he just wants to get it and pop it, then get another one. We went snow tubing at Pine Valley Reservoir about 45 mins from our house over the weekend with our friends Troy & Misty. It was a lot of fun, the weather was great, we got hot and had to peel some of our layers of clothes off. Cash didn't want to leave, he went on the tube by himself. He has no fear and is usually willing to try something daring.

  1. Looks like you have the makings of a rocker in Cash. I remember when my son took up the drums...my ears still hurt. Love the pictures and the blogg. Sure wish Larry could see the pictures, he is missing that the most I think..not being able to see the grandkids growing up. He is looking forward to being with the three of you next week. Some day I'll get out to your place, most likely spring or summer. Don't know what we're doing this New Year's Eve yet, guess we better make up our minds pretty soon though. My son gets to go to the Rose Bowl again this year. A friend of his gets passes every year, this is Daniel's second time...he has a very understanding new wife (as he just got married 2 months ago) that isn't giving him grief about leaving her on New Year's Day. He and my dad (who got his master's from USC) are HUGE fans. Well, I need to start working on my yearbook deadline that I keep putting off, but just wanted to reply to your blogg. Take care and yes, we will enjoy our New Year's Day dinner. Thank you again that was very thoughtful of both of you. Happy New Year...Valerie
